I decided to move to Texas from my hometown in Pennsylvania to attend Texas A&M University. I am currently an undergraduate student majoring in Agricultural Leadership and Development, with minors in Entrepreneurship and Spanish. Since starting Aggie Blades after my Freshman year, I have become a part-owner of The Cut Axe Throwing and began working as a REALTOR.
I discovered The Cut online while searching for a venue to host a birthday party for a friend in October 2022. One of the venue's owners recognized my talent early and suggested that I start competing. After returning from winter break, I did just that. I also started working at The Cut as a coach. I gained a unique perspective to realize that many college students who attended the venue had a great time, but there wasn't a community for college students in axe throwing yet. I collaborated with another friend and The Cut to launch Aggie Blades and establish that community. Each semester, I work with a new team of officers to continue growing the organization and continually improve the experience of our members.
