I decided to move to Texas from my hometown in Pennsylvania to go to school at Texas A&M. I am currently still an undergraduate student. I have multiple avenues in consideration after graduating but will continue with growing and improving Aggie Blades until then. I have also become a part-owner of The Cut Axe Throwing.
I found The Cut online while looking for a place to have a birthday party for a friend in October 2022. One of the owners of the venue realized my talent early and suggested I start competing. After returning from winter break, I did just that. I also started working at The Cut as a coach. I got the unique perspective to realize that many college kids who came to the venue had a great time, but there wasn't a community for college students in axe throwing yet. I worked with another friend and The Cut to start Aggie Blades and create that community. There are multiple plans in the works to change the way axe throwing is integrated into the collegiate atmosphere.
I practiced and learned a lot from the owners and pro-throwers at The Cut when I started working there in late January 2023. This allowed me to quickly improve my abilities and rise in the world rankings in axe throwing. I have achieved a perfect game score of 64 points in the World Axe Throwing League, scored a perfect score of 81 in a standard International Axe Throwing Federation League, had a 75-point average score in a league season, won multiple tournaments in both WATL and IATF, as well as holding a top 300 ranking in the world for IATF and top 150 for WATL.
